About Me

Hello! I’m Samlan CHANDRAN THODIKA, and I am currently a researcher at the Laboratoire Ondes et Matiére d’Aquitaine (LOMA), Université de Bordeaux, in Bordeaux, France. I am mainly interested in structured or unstructured light when it meets with a structured matter.  This interaction results in the Spin-orbit interaction of light involves a coupling between the Spin Angular Momentum and Orbital Angular Momentum, respectively attributed to the polarization and spatial degrees of freedom. 
Outside of the laboratory, I enjoy exploring FOOD and PLACES with my wife and two kids.
